It is MFI..If they stay true to form the red shroud means 'S' engine. '69 would be 2.0L 70-71 would be 2.2L, '72-'73 would be 2.4L, then of course the 2.7L MFI in the RS.

I'd guess at an early 2.0L- 2.2L by the metal air cleaner intake and I think the stacks may be the magnesium ones rather than the plastic.

Better resolution and you could read the motor tag?

Of course there is a bunch of other items that are not original so who knows.

As has been said to me ...

"twin plugs titanium retainer on valves, molly pistons, new rod bearings, new main bearings, new seals, turbo oil pump, new clutch, its pulling 250hp at 6700rpms,"

I have no reason to doubt the seller but its a combo I have not seen before.

What do you note as missing ?

...and thanks!

My comment is more from originality of an MFI engine...if they are giving you that much detail they should be able to say the displacement.

It does look like twin plug after seeing the extra plug line or two in the one pic, removed/relocated distributor and coil.

This is a custom MFI motor...some of the engine pro's could give you a better ideal of such a beast...anything from 2.0L to 2.8L Short Stroke and others.

MFI can kinda be tunned to match certain motors/displacement...hence I'm running my own 3.0L MFI

Could very well be a 3.2 with MFI. the injection is obvious and the pump has been modified with a RSR type front cover. The twin plug is most likely a crank fired system as we can see the grey trigger wire in the oe distributor area, and the plug wires themselves coming from the back of the motor.
As with all custom builds, all bets are off when it comes to guessing the internals from just the engine number. We need more pics of the underside of the motor to help determine the approx year range of the engine case.

The hp claim is realistic for a 3.2 motor built this way

Late model case. Either a 83 3.0 engine or a 3.2.
