Carrera 3.2 - can anyone please help identifying this part?
Hello,
Being finishing a Carrera 3.2 assembly and due to the lack of experience on this specific model, there are a couple of bits that I cannot identify. If anyone can help, please do! Here they are: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1505984801.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1505984801.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1505984801.JPG |

Really?!
They were in the car when disassembled... although I do not have any records of it... Thanks anyway! |
The one is a switch and the other a flange of sorts, I would possibly look at brake(control) or clutch area. With a little time I could let you know.

if its a Porsche part there should be a part number on it somewhere.

Mysterious extra parts.......
Alex,
For your piece of mind, those are not OEM parts. You don't need them. Save them if that will make you feel better. Tony |
Many thanks to you all!
Hope you are all right! :))) |
Mounts for the Fetzer Valve, it’s all ball bearings these days......

What is the Fetzer valve? |
Hmmm, typically found in the striped paint section of your FLAPS to my recollection.

From your location, I infer yours is a Euro spec 911. At one point, Euro cars had a sort of marker light in the rear side of the front fender - at least on the left side. I couldn't find this in a catalog, though.
And most came with a rear fog light. Is the red part a plastic lens? This doesn't look like the rear fog light, and I think the side markers were amber. But those are my guesses as to possibilities. |
