Your thread is a couple months old. Any further update?

Quote:

1. Left brake light and side indicator blink when left turn signal switch activated.

2. Left indicator light in tach illuminates when headlight switch is pulled to accessory or "on" position

I cleaned the grounds at the rear tail light buckets. I did get a puff of smoke once in my install when I think I let the gauge light wires ground.

Could I have burned out the signal switch?
1) Left brake lights and rear sidemarker blinking with left turnsignal obviously should not occur. The brake light blinking is likely the running light intensity not brake intensity. Does the brake light work correctly?

The only interaction a running light would have with turnsignal is common ground.

I don't think you burned out the turnsignal stalk.
