82 engine install questions

I am new to CIS systems and to this engine. I have run it on a test stand, and now I am about to introduce it to its new significant other. So I have some questions:
Photo 1 ; I assume this line leads from the brake booster, where and what does it plug into? I connected it to a braided vaccum line which leads to the charcoal cannister, but I am sure that is wrong.
Photo 2 ; The rear of the vaccum cannister-where does this outlet connect?
Photo 3 ; The vaccum line on the engine-dosen't this connect to the booster line? If so-where does the large braided line connect?
Photo 4 ;What is this gizmo, where does it go and what does it do?
Thanks for your help!!!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1506467836.JPG

Picture #1:
That is the vacuum hose from the brake booster. It should be connected from a metal tube coming from the chassis. Double check this connection to confirm it. If this is in fact the vacuum hose from the brake booster, it goes to the vacuum line at the air box (left side).

Picture #2:
Carbon canister. The big hose depending on your car model:
a). Engine shroud.
b). CIS air box.

Vacuum hose from air box going to brake booster.

That is the OXS sensor connector.
