Fixing my dead Odyssey 925.
I was working on stripping that horrible glue from the rear interior as I am doing the RS carpet thing. I left the doors open to air out the car and I didn’t notice that the interior lights were on. A few days later I wanted to go for a spin and nothing. No alt or oil light, no clicks and the clock was at the wrong time. Oh oh, I checked the voltage at the battery and it was read 6.55 volts. Grrrr. First off, I put on my “smart” charger/extender (Schmacher SP1) and it cycled from charging to full charge in about 5 minutes. That doesn’t sound right and the battery voltage was still at 6.55 volts. A frantic google search showed a number of fixes. The Odyssey site gave me the technique.
http://www.odysseybattery.com/documents/ProceduretorecoverdeeplydischargedODYSSEY.pdf Further searches found alternate ways of doing the same thing but didn’t require a bigger charger than I had. I pulled the battery from the car and moved it downstairs. I hooked up my old battery in parallel with the Odyssey with jumper cables, attached my charger and a volt meter. After waiting about an hour, the volt meter said about 11 volts and the charger got plugged in. The status lights said charging and I disconnected the other battery. I left it alone for an hour and the charger was hot. Obviously, it was suppling max current (2 amps). I put it up on some sockets for air circulation and put a fan on the whole set up. Next morning the charger was cool and the status light showed 80% charged. Battery voltage was 12.1 volts. At around noon the charger showed charging was complete and battery voltage was 12.74, pretty close to what Odyssey suggests for success. I left the battery for another 24 hours and the voltage was still at 12.74. Next step is install the battery back in the car and remove the bulbs from the interior lights.

Several years ago I accidently fully discharged my PC680 (smaller cousin to the 925). I forgot to hook it up to my Deltran Battery Tender for several months of inactivity. I managed to restore it by putting it on the Battery Tender for 3 1/2 days.
It is still working just fine.

An Optima 400 charger works well for an agm battery.
It can save some dead agm batterys too. Could not find it on Pelican? https://www.optimabatteries.com/en-us/battery-charger |

Use an old school analog charger. I have a Sears. High amp start car mode for 20 minutes then low amp for 2 hours, repeat.
Those new fangled digital ones are worthless for bringing back flat batteries. The Battery Tenders are great for vehicles with occasional usage. My last battery lasted 14 years.
