Chain Tensioner Upgrade Preference

Which chain tensioner upgrade kit is preferred from the host? The OE supplier or the Sebro update kit?

I just replace one of my pressure feed tensioners. I went with OE. There was a recent thread where someone was not happy with the aftermarket brand. You might want to do a search.
BTW I found a really good deal on the OE tensioner at another site that was having a sale on them recently.

Well, let's just say our bags are packed and we are ready to evacuate if need be. We are about 6 or 7 miles from the closest fire , and our property is covered with ash and smoke. Lots of houses and other stuff was burned. The K-mart and Hilton both were completely burned along with 2,000 houses. The two hospitals in the city had to be evacuated. The fires are still going , but the wind has shifted them to the other side of the county. Still lots of evacuations going on. My wife is working at one of the shelters right now. We know several people who' s houses burned down. Very sad. All the schools are shut until next week sometime. It is a major disaster and it's going to take a long time to get back to anything normal around here. So far we have lucked out.

Thanks Gordon! Hope all is well for you and your family over there!

I appreciate your thoughts. My family and I have been very fortunate so far to have been able to avoid the devastation in our community. There have been so many friends and loved ones who have lost so much to the fires. Our hats are off to the thousands of firefighters who are continuing to battle these blazes.

Sorry for the off-topic reply....

Sebastopol has a special place in my heart; my wife and I went there for our 5 year anniversary and would love to go there for our 10 year anniversary. Beautiful town in wine country close to everything.... Hope they get control of this mess soon!

Regarding the tensionioners: I went with the Porsche supplier because I didn't know any better at the time. So far, so good over 5 years ago....
