Wheel bearing Brands

Need to do front wheel bearings on my 87 911.

Any recommendation on a brand? Pelican lists FAG SKF KOYO AND NTN (inner only)

Or is this one of the parts where it is better off spending the extra money on the genuine Porsche part?

Old OEM front bearings........

If you could get FAG or SKF front bearings would be a very good choice. Below is a picture of the front bearings from a late SC.

No Koyo!

SKF bought out FAG a few years ago.

Nope.

OP - SKF or FAG will serve your car well. They are quality bearings.

You're right. I confused SKF with the Shaeffler Group.

Some good info in this thread for you: Rear wheel bearings - Timken, SKF, or Porsche?. Let me know if you have questions.

Wheel bearings.

Bought the factory parts from our host.

I only replaced the fronts.
