Porsche Crest SSI Question, maybe for trade

.
I got a set of SSIs for my 3.0, but it turns out that they are thin flange
Can I still use these on my 3.0?? If not, does anyone have a set of thick flanged ones to trade, or a set of B&B headers?
TIA

have a machine shop make you some spacers...really thick washers

it would be okay to use thin flange...but the barrel nuts are the limiting factor...the stud protrudes so much you can't get the allen wrench in...

nuts you could just screw them down as much as you want with a deep socket...

I used a hex nut that was bigger then the stud as a "washer"

but if you want a professional look, get some spacers made

You can use them if you change out the studs. Depending on the history of the car, removing the studs could be a difficult task.

The thin flange SSIs probably don't have an 02 sensor bunge which may be important if the car needs to pass visual smog tests.
