What is this number tag under the driver floor?
I was doing some cleaning under the driver floor and found a number stamped tag under the factory insulation. Why would factory put a tag that would never be seen?

So that's the 249th coupe body built for 1988.
(1) Body (0) Coupe (8) 1988 Interesting. How does it match up with the last few digits of the VIN ? |
The VIN will always be less due to the varieties of coupe VIN`s; they all pull from the same pool of bodies.
