speedo signal issue 915 trans

Hello,

as some may have noticed, I had a recent 915 trans rebuild.

the magnet disc was broken. 2 of the 8 magnet sticks were gone.

my question now is, how does this effect the speedo signal impulse when only 6 of 8 magnets are left?
do I get a "slower" reading on the speedo compared to the real speed I'm running?
e.g. do I read 80 but aktually run 100?

how are the math to this?

Yes, your speedo will still register but at a lesser indicated speed proportional to how many magnets are gone. In my case, 3 out of 6 were weak and my speedo registered just about half speed of what was I really going. Honest Officer, I thought I was only going 80!
