Scanned Porsche Pics
Finally got around to doing this. Here are some scanned pics of the porsches I have owned. First one was a 72 911T, didn't know much about ungalvanized metal back then, lot's of rust. I was 19 years old. Did a top end rebuild, put a whale tail on it had it painted and got rid of it and bought another 911. 2nd porsche was a 74 911, it only had 50,000 miles on it when I bought it, very clean. It had a set of fuchs off an SC. Kept it for a couple of years and sold it. Third porsche is an 80 911SC. Bought it when I turned 40. I've had the car for around 1 1/2 years. Really a great running machine. I'm going to hang on to this one for a while.

I like the '80 - especially those Euro-style H4s. Love that look on a 911. Nice color too.

The color on the 72 was minerva blue metalic. The original color was a kermit green. Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed with the original color. old_skul Thanks for the comments. I really wanted a silver 911SC but this one was in nice shape and priced right. I have to tell you, the gold (casablanca beige) really grows on you and I haven't seen another one painted this color on the road yet. Here's what the 72 looked like when I got it. ![]() ![]()
