Hella Driving Lights
I have access to a pair of Hella 550 driving lights that appear to be an exact replacement for the fog lights on my SC. They also appear to be new and unused as there is no indication they have ever been wired up, they are "out of the box" clean outside.
However, the inside of the lens is another story. It is cloudy with the sort of cloudiness I have seen on QI light units before. So my question is, how can you clean the inside of these things, or can you? The only access to the lens is through the tiny hole the H3 lamp fits into. They do NOT disassemble. Ideas?

It may burn off from use.

I have the amber versions. Not an exact replacement but close. You will have to do a little finagling with the mount but it will work. They are a bit larger and where the SC fog lights face forward, the Hellas angle down slightly.
What if you swished some isopropyl alcohol around inside the lens to see if it will come off? Just let it evaporate thoroughly before using them.

Put some dry white rice in with the alcohol to add some grit...
