If I have just one leaking oil return tube, any reason to replace them all? Or, should I just order two or more and replace them as needed?
Also, on a 3.2 Carrera, any need to remove heat exchangers to do this? Thanks, Chris. |

You might as well replace them all. They are not expensive and you'll be happy in the long run.
No need to remove heat exchangers if you replace with the collapsable return tubes. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/por_911M_oilsys_main.htm http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/POR_911M_oilsys_pg7.htm#item11 ------------------ Josh '84 Carrera Coupe |

I would suggest only changine the one that needs it. On my car that was all four! But buy an extra one or two, for when the rest fail.
I had to remove one of my heat exchangers to do mine, but you may find that you don't need to. And use a silicone grease to lube everthing with, I tried just using motor oil, and that just made me angry. ------------------ Matt Chamblin 78 911 SC |
