Decklid grill
Thinking about making 10-20 maybe more decklid grille blanks from aluminum. Previously made (G6D) several but experiment died due to various reasons. However due to the response here in New Orleans I'm thinking about having some more laser cut. They are cut to fit very nice and tight. Here is one finished. Not sure of exact price but will have that shortly. First guess is between $50-$75 each. The grills will be solid, no louvers, holes etc just a solid blank platform for you to do whatever you want. Will be unfinished (not painted or powder coated). Might be able to reach out to my metal guy to see if he will do louvers or holes but at buyers expense.
Also getting a quote to have holes like mine below lazer/water cut. However the won't be indented as shown below. So let me know if anyone is interested. Trying to get a grasp of how many to get done. Have to buy a sheet of aluminum which roughly makes about 10 if I remember correctly. Below is the one on my car. Fit ducktail or regular decklid. Probably about a centermeter or less gap between grill and decklid. Went through about 10 before we got the fit we liked. I guess one question would be how the open area % compares to a stock grille? Yours looks like there is quite a lot of solid area.

Plenty of air flow. 17 2inch holes. Not much differnet than singer and without a standard decklid over it.
