911 early WUR and cold start valve

Trying to help a friend.I do not deal with AFR system set ups.
He has an early 75 911 at the shop.It has very early WUR and cold start valve(no Bosch plug on cold start valve)
The engine is running very lean-if it it adjusted richer it kinda floods.
Control pres.i ok and system pres.also ok

the numbers are cold-10-12--warm idle 13..running 15-16..

There is a possibility the engine has 3.0 pistons and cylinders -there is no history with the car.
Any ideas.Like getting different WUR -perhaps
thanx

Ivan

What is the WUR part number? Is it the correct one for a ‘75?

I believe the WUR for models with the hand throttle lever by the parking brake and Throttle Position Regulator were originally 008. The 0438 140 129 was the factory replacement for it.
The late model '75-76 without the hand throttle and no TPR used 0438 140 009 vacuum controlled WUR.

Hi Ed
yup i second this...we are going to get for my friend the later version. No vacuum - i think that was for emission purpose...this engine is kinda all Mickey Moused together,it runs strong(i think it has those S cams) but my friend cannot rich it up...so Wur is on its way-no hand throttle there..78 body..
Thanks a lot for your input...

Ivan

Hi..Ed..i just came home from Prague ..went to look at the engine plus pick up my engine case for the new build i`m doing.
Looks like 1974 engine with 2,7 piston and cylinders with the very early WUR possibly from 1973.So there is not enough gas going in since the wur cannot be adjsuted. My friend had the engine running very good but only with his adjustable fuel gauges....bypassing the wur.
Engine is 911/92 so it is most likely late 1973 early 74 injection ..

Eastbay...my friend said thank you very much and me too. We learn every day.....
The fuel press was very easy to adjust and the car runs perfect.Since you have saved him a big headache--he said if you ever come to Prague-Czech Republic-Bohemia he will invite you for a quality Czech beer ...
thanx again
