Smile

Spent some time today measuring and checking and more measuring. Then checking some more.

Then some cutting.

So far everything lines up nicely.

Jeremy-consider removing the fuel injection control box and fitting an oil tank to the hole before you attach the fender.

Wouldn't I need to running all the oil cooler lines and the cooler up front to then.

I'm still running the 912E (style) motor but no EFI anymore just carb set up.

I thought I read earlier in this thread that you bought a 6 cyl mill. For that, you will need an oil tank and related plumbing. I you keep the 912e engine-you have to leave it as is.
If you go with the 6, you should evaluate whether you will need the upfront cooling system-it depends on whether you have a hot running engine, or if your driving environment is hot.
I am about to swap for a 912e that I will put a mild 3.0 in. For that, I am definitely going to have front cooling.

I see why you comment that way. I ended up just keeping the type 4 motor for it

Is that engine lid 6mm too long or is it an optical illusion?

All the panels are still just mocked up and sitting there. Nothing is in its final place yet
