3.6 ITB/MS Dyno Results

After messing around with my car and getting it close, I finally got it on a dyno to dial it in. The car felt great before the dyno, but had some low load throttle tip-in bobbles that I couldn't figure out.
The final iteration of my intake setup consists of K&N filters, with clear rain-hats and powder coated air horns. The cool looking screens from BillsB Racing were just too restrictive and I like to drive in the rain..lol
Pre tuning showed just 228RWHP (sad)but the throttle response masked the crap number..It still felt better than the AFM setup.

Post tuning, everything is even better and the 273HP/252TQ results and the amazing torque "shelf" instead of a curve rocks. This is a stock 3.6 with 46mm PMO ITBs, Megasquirt (from Al at XFaktory) 1 3/4 headers and that's it. Future plans may include some nastier cams..

Hi.

Both looks and performance are great [emoji106][emoji106]
Can you tell us where you got the clear rainhats for the ITB's and the perforated grill?

Regards
Eskild

Very nice results Erik. Those are some healthy wheel numbers.

Glad to see this project coming together.

I saw one of these at Stuttgart-classica

But I like yours better. I can't find anything on the carbone website

Contact Paweł at carbone. They aren’t on his site. But he can make them. He did one done another 3.6 car I’m working on for a buddy

Strong numbers, the car must be a riot to scadaddle and sound like a riot too!

Please share the details on fuel line size and fuel pump type, nice complete package

LeftCoastErik 11-12-2017 04:40 PM

Ted, I am running the stock SC fuel pump ( the 72 I did used a Motorsports 044 pump) with -6 lines and we are using Aeromotive regulators.stock return lines on my car and braided -6 on the 72.
