Weird mirror (exterior) alignment issue
 

Driving me nuts!
Passenger mirror when you tighten it up on the door, turns slightly clockwise. The base of the mirror should be perpendicular to the window, but again it twists slightly. The twisting only happens when the mirror begins to get snug. Yes it happens if you try to hold the mirror still...
The mirror when loose can be placed exactly where it should be. This only occurs when in the last stage of tightening it up. Id say its a good 5/16" away from where it should be.:mad:
I have yet to yank the door panel.. Any help or ideas would be great, BTW the drivers side mirror is perfect.
