Pics of my '78 For-Sale Targa

Never mind they got some of the details incorrectly--http://www.parkplaceltd.com/WebInventory/details.asp?id=1544

Again, I'll take $19K. OBO.

They are consigning it? It doesn't sound like much mark up if you want 19k unless they are firm on that price.

Yep, they are--and that's a very healthy mark-up--nearly $4K, over 20%! They may not get it, but, hey--

Too funny

Hey, that's David Bruski at Park Place. His bio states that he's been ther for 11 years. Too funny, because I purchased my first Porsche (1987 944 Turbo) from David at Park Place Motors way back in 1992. I drove down from Vancouver BC, and the Canadian dollar was worth 0.92 cents US. Now $1 USD = 0.66 CDN. Ouch. Maybe if the exchange rate really improves, I'll head to Bellevue and see him again.

Kristian, we looked at your car tonight. That is, without a doubt, the sweetest SC I have ever seen! Your price is much more reasonable than PP. We're going down to drive it on Saturday.

It's a 78 911 SC Targa, with 95K miles, un-original engine.... nice car but you're asking $19,000????

What have you been smoking????

The data in the CD-type disc decodes easily into ASCII computer text as follows, using 8 bit binary:
*
"Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. (Damaged Word). There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND)”
*
The damaged word would appear to be intended as “BELIEVE”.

Kristian's car is basically flawless. And it pulls like a rocket compared to stock. Doubtful you will find anything of that vintage as clean as his...What is perfection worth?
