How far to press in rear hub?

See below - is there a clearance between the back of the hub and the bearing face? As far as I can tell, there is no physical stop when pressing it in. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1511104200.jpg

Did you support the inner, inside race when you pulled it in? The bearing will be damaged if you didn't. Put the stub axle through and tighten the nut to finish if you don't have the install tool.

No sorry - those pics above are not mine, just to illustrate what clearance is was talking about. I have yet to start pressing it in.

I guess I’ll just go until they are flush with the stub axle. Thanks.

I think once you put in the drive shaft. Attach the bolt and washer. Torque the mother. It will slide home.
