Tool kit question
 

Factory tool kit p/n 911 721 002 00 seems to be readily available from many places. It’s listed as 70-73, does anyone know what the difference would be between this and a 68 kit. I am looking at buying this for my 68.

Besides the fact it’s “not correct” as in original I’m guessing the alternator wrench, spark plug socket(?) and tool roll. There is quite a long thread on earlyS regarding the proper items by year on the toll rolls. The prices for original tools and rolls have softened quite a bit lately. If possible I’d always defer to original over the re-pops. In reality you won’t be using it anyways. Just my .02

Not too worried about authenticity and exact right year. Just need a kit for my hot rod. The big questions are does alternator and spark plug wrenches fit. Everything else is pretty much universal.
