A/C condenser fan in trunk
Does anyone make a block off plate for the frunk mounted condenser blower?
I've got an 84 that had 75% of the system removed and they pulled the blower but left the condenser. Going to pull the remaining bit out and block off that rather large hole |
I made one out of aluminum, painted it, used a neoprene tape to seal it and riveted it in. I did not find a pre-made solution.

You’ll have to make two plates to seal off the area where the front condenser blower was located. I think some light gauge aluminum plate could easily be formed to these shapes.

I didn't seal the forward hole just yet...I might use it for fresh air ducting to the central dash vents. I just sealed the lower hole.

Thanks for the suggestions guys

You'd think someone could 3d print a pattern then make a plastic plug to snap in place. I'd pay for one.

I beat one into shape out of stainless sheet. It was hard work, but thats what I had available. Used silicone around the edge and screwed it down as well.
