Planning a road trip in mid-March. Rochester, NY to Daytona Beach.
Anyone care to predict whether I should consider the Skyline Drive or Blue Ridge Parkway for some of the trip at that time of year? Anything Porsche-related places to visit or events 3/15 - 3/23 up and down the coast that are on the don't-miss-this list? Thanks for the input. |

That had caught my eye. I'm not sure I can get up early enough to make the start time, not sure I'd been in much of a mood to enjoy it if I did.
Worth thinking about, though. Anything else? |

l33t9eek, what section are you going to run. do you have the park rangers paid off?
inari77s skyline in shanandoa (sp) won't kill your time, blue ridge will multiply by 4. throw the detector in the trunk in va. hit 129/deals gap/dragons tail. 81 to 40w to smoky mountian expressway(55 tops/ heavy nc law) to 129. you will never forget it. best 11 miles in the nation. tom

ya we probably would start a little early for you to be starting in NY. I'd still sugest the Blue ridge parkway. I can't say much more than that.

Tom,
Deal's Gap/Dragon's Tail looks interesting, but I probably can't add the 300 extra miles on this trip. |
