Fuse question
I went to replace my fuse for glove box, interior lights, and clock which according to the manual requires a 5 amp fuse. The blown white fuse is 8 amp. If I replace it with 8 amp should that matter or should I get a5 amp fuse?
|
Hi Rx,
It depends why the fuse blew. If every connection and component is perfect, then the difference between 5 and 8 amps might not matter. Might as well put in the correct one though. Good luck, Dave |
Thanks Dave. I accidentally caused a spark trying to fix my glove box light and blew my fuse, which was diagnosed by fellow pelican yesterday. Just having a hard time finding 5 amp fuse. Plenty of 8 amps around.

I would buy 1 or 2 5 amp fuses if it were me. My 2 cents.

Was a bit hard to find the 5 amp, but napa does carry them online. Will do just that.
