KM speedo calibrated in miles
I had a problem with my odometer on the 3.2 so I sent it out to one of the more well known speedo companies in the US. Took them 4 months and lots of dollars to fix it and send it back. When I installed it, I found out that the speedo is way off, so I'm only assuming they carelessly calibrated it to miles instead of KM.
Now, I am not in the mood to deal with them again, so is there a way I can fix this issue myself? Thanks!

You should look at the Yellow Box solution; see the thread here:
Speedometer correction! I used this for my speedo/odo issue and it works perfectly (many months later).

define 'way off'. difference in km/h and MPH is only the face and the odometer.

You mean the 60 mph and 100kmh are exactly the same distance from zero? if thats the case then the problem might be something else

except for the 85mph SC speedo, they are extremely close yes. If you compare the 2, the 80mph mark and the 130km/h mark are just about at the 12 o'clock position.
Did you find the problem? Last edited by CASair; 12-20-2017 at 04:46 AM.. |
