I'm interested in a car located in Brea (northern OC) and need a recommendation for a shop to do the PPI. I'm located in the Bay Area, so I'll need to ask the owner to take the car to the shop for me, so probably can't ask him to drive too far. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had mine done at Andial in Santa Ana. They of course, are famous for Porsches and racing. Top notch shop.

Kevin,
Jacks German Auto in Fountain Valley would be a great place to start. 125.00 for the PPI. I have brought two Porsches here for PPI in which they found problems with (broken head bolts, past collision damage, etc). They have been providing service for my wife's BMW and my Porsche for many years with quality of service. Andial would be ideal, but good luck getting an appt due to the fact they seem to be backed up with work most of the time. Just tell them Pat sent you. Good luck !!! ------------------ 84 EuroCab |

If Andial can't take you, Randall Aase also has a shop -- Aase Motors -- in the vicinity (Fullerton/Anaheim). Another very well-respected shop that also does significant race prep work.
