msd 6al in my 3.2
ok i've used msd boxes before but how much "difference" am i going to notice in my p-car?
the only real engine related mod is going to be no exhaust after the cat. ANY opinions are welcome, i searched the archives but all the info was with many mor mods than i have. thanks in advance

The only thing I notice is that during warmup (going down the driveway) there is less chance of missfire due to the very rich mixture in my 930. I don't think you will notice any difference with the MSD box

l have an 84 Carrera that was near stock when l installed the 6AL MSD.l noticed when l fired up the car for the first time with the unit that the idle was about 300 rpm higher then pre MSD.The Motronic stabilized it down, but to me that immediate higher idle COULD indicate better combustion...l think the 6AL is a worthwhile addition,it smoothed out the idle a tad and it`s been race proven worldwide.Out of the box the later 911`s have a good ignition but the MSD can offer a slight improvement to the early cars. But then l`m always looking for an excuse to spend money on my car, even if it doesn`t NEED anything...
