Wow!

And from all the youtubes I've watched , I understand black is hard to get right.

So well done, it looks stunning.

What paint and equipment did you use?

iv done a few at home too.
when I built my 914-6 I did that one at home.
you get a little dirt in there but when you are on a budget, the price is right and you can live with a little dirt, its not a bad deal.
I did a friends race car outside. early in the morning. it came out fine.
did the front end of the Mercedes after the wife wrecked it and daughter finished it off on a deer

I would not do the 930 at home. i would do the front spoiler since it looks bad anyway.

Black is difficult. Did you color sand it?

Looks really good. No way I would even try to paint a garden wagon, let alone a 911. Lots of pieces to paint.

Noted the flip flops and coveralls. Pedicure included?

That looks great!

Love the red rollcage with black exterior!

My father's resto shop has put out some best of shows without a paint booth.

Your results prove it. Great work!

That's awesome, it looks great! I've painted cars at home too, the prep is the hardest part. Any mistakes you make will show once the color is on.

I did that ONCE! and only once. Too much floating particles in a garage, no matter how well you cover everything. I poured water on the floor to draw the dust particles down and had two 36" fans walled off below a partially closed garage door. Still had lots of resanding and the best one was a moth that landed in my final clear coat. Found the sucker the next day. had to pull him out then wet sand and entire rear quarter section to remove wing bits, legs an other insect debris.

NEVER again. Painted my 2nd and 3rd cars at work. I have a spray booth there and set up a work area in one of our warehouses. SOOOOOOO much cleaner.

Congrats on your work. Just too many "what ifs" spraying in a standard garage. Make sure you post pics after your finish wet sand and buff.

Painted my old Datsun 510 in a garage with a dirt floor, but that was with good ol lacquer and lots of color sanding. That looks great!

That's a huge undertaking! Great job on your first attempt at painting, youtube instructionals are awesome! It took me two days to repaint and sand a hood, and after that I didn't want to paint again. Black with the red cage looks great!
