Max. camber with Boge vs. Bilstein?
Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a suspension project on a friends car. His car is equipped with the Boge strut housings. In the front we are struggling to get more than -0.2 degree negative camber. Using stock ball joint and camber plate. Should we expect to get more negative camber? I am wondering if the Boge spindle is angled slightly less than the Bilstein spindle? Best and thanks, Dennis |

Did the ride height change by chance when you put in the new shock inserts? That could limit negative camber. I swapped in new Bilstein inserts once and they raised the front of the car 3/4”.

There isn't a lot of camber adjustment available in the stock setup. That said, check the camber left and right to make sure the adjustment range is about the same. If not, then check for a bent spindle/strut.
