Help ID this piece please!
What do you call this cardboard and steel piece that bolts over the components that are attached to what would normally be known as a firewall, and what years 911 is it for? I have one for sale.
It has male snap receivers for the carpet to snap onto. Here's a photo of the part at the back of the trunk... ![]() ... and here's a photo of the part removed from the car ![]()

It's called a blower cover. Pelican sells a reproduction part - APBZ-BC7789, for $349.
The part is interchangeable over a range of years. https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/APBZ-BC7789&SuperCat=Y&SVSVSI=.htm

I replaced the cardboard piece on my car with a piece of alucobond . Alucobond is a blend of aluminum and plastic in any color you want. I bent it to match the curve of the steel bracing and cut to match. Used the same material to replace the old plywood pedal covers as well. You can get it from sign companies, they use it to cover architectural walls and make sign boxes with it.
