Stereo install and a few ramblings...
On Friday I was headed to Houston and as I left work I got rear ended in my Grand Cherokee. It was raining and I planned to take the Jeep as the 930 is mostly a weekend car and I didn't want to take it out in the rain for 2 days. How on EARTH would I ever get it clean again?
![]() The Jeep got smashed up pretty good so I was "forced" to take the 930. I had just installed a stereo last weekend so I was kind of excited to be going on a road trip in the Porsche. The car was great in the rain, I began to understand why so many people use their 911 as a daily driver. Today I had a great drive back and made record time. (for me) I still can't get over how fun these cars are. They run VERY stong and cruise between 100 and 120 with such ease. On a final note, I gained a better appreciation for Guards Red today. Yes it is true that you are always the center of attention when you see a traffic cop, but on the plus side I just love how everyone gets out of the way of a bright red 911. That alone ALMOST offsets the attention you get from the local police. So far my Valentine One has kept me out of trouble, but I don't expect that luck to run on forever! Anyway, I love pictures so here are some that I took today:

Thanks for the great photos. I love the ground shot, what type of camera did you use? Great choice in amps too.

Thanks, TurboRuf. The camera is just a Sony DSC (some model number I don't remember). I have had it for a few years and am was pretty happy with it until I had a friend take a few pictures of my car this weekend with his new 5.1 megapixel Sony. It is amazing, looks just like a 35mm.
Thanks for the props on the amp. I actually had that thing laying around and when I found it I decided it was time to put a stereo in the Porsche. I got all of the other stuff on sale so since I had the amp already I put less than $800 on the entire set up. I am definitely pleased with the bang for the buck on this project.
