Correct stitching for 76 rear seat?

Can anybody definitively say whether the stitching would be horizontal or vertical on a tartan interior for a 76 carrera 3.0? I have and have found samples of each and it appears to perhaps be a mid-year split or perhaps in vinyl they are vertical but in tartan or another custom fabric they are horizontal? In ‘75 they definitely(although the rare ‘75 turbo prototype is horizontal) are vertical and ‘77 definitely are horizontal. Any help would be appreciated.

I have never seen the tartan in vertical for ‘76. I just went through the same dilemma on my ‘76 and Tony at Autobahn and I agreed that horizontal was the way to go. If it were vinyl then definitely vertical for ‘76. Vinyl changed to horizontal in ‘77.
