Hi..your belt is made in 1969 September...I have one from 1965/08 August Phoenix.

So, how would I be able to tell the difference between a 1965, 1975 or a 1985 belt?

you would not because the last i remember was 1970..;-) which was marked on Phoenix belts
later models are Continental..Optibelt..Goodyear.... Ivan
