Koni early struts color

I just got a pair of early S (3.5 spacing) struts back from the sandblaster. Anybody have a good guess on a close Koni orange to paint them?

Chevy orange is good.

The Plymouth/Chrysler engine orange is a closer match to original. The original color is darker with a bit more red/brown tones compared to Chevy orange.

There is also Powder coat material available.

Jermeny, that looks really nice under there! I had to take a few deep breaths it looks so good! I also used the Engine Orange Paint but like someone said, the actual color has a slight bit more Red in the color

I’ve got a set of 1970 rears you are welcome to borrow to attempt to color match.

This is what I used, close enough to my SCs shroud color, and it is holding up. The older shrouds were redder, where the newer ones more orange.

For those wanting to powder coat their Koni's, I found that color RAL 2002 from Tiger-Drylac (www.tiger-coatings.us - TIGER coatings | A better finish. For a better world.) was a good match for my '77. Go to the downloads section of their website and pull down the color chart.
