SC spark plugs

This might seem silly but I'm wondering if there is a preferred brand of spark plugs for our 3.0 SC's and also if there is a preferred grade within the brand you use.
Thx,
Hugh

I'm in "tropical" Mississippi with my 82 SC. The "Guru" down here that builds these engines as part of his living suggests the NGK BP7ES, so that's what I use. The end of the box states "NGK BP7ES 1034".

NGK for me.

macssc911 02-04-2018 12:44 PM

NGK is the best plug for that application and there inexpensive

NGK also.

Thanks guys. I was asking since I want to replace my plugs and since Bosch are somewhat difficult to get in my area it's good to know that other name brands are being used.

And how wide are we gapping these NKGs?

macssc911 02-04-2018 02:15 PM

The out of the box gap usually good around 34
