Any Experience Removing an old Alpine like this?
Wondering if anyone has any experience removing this type of stereo. It looks like I have to unscrew the bolt from the back but I was wondering if there was an easier, more accessible option.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1517947815.jpg

looks like the radio would need to slide back and be removed from the back, regardless -- you might want to start by removing the knobs/retaining nuts from the front first and see/confirm whether a rear strap was used in the first place?

Is that the model that lit up green back in the day?

The strap is weak metal, bend it with a needle nose back and forth a bunch of times and it will fatigue and break.
