993 spark plug wires

I need to replace the plug wires on my '98 993 C2S. I'm in the middle of doing other routine maintenance work, so I've already removed a lot of stuff. Question...exactly how does one access the four screws attaching the two guide blocks to the top of the intake manifold? I've seen a few tech articles (with pics), but I cannot get my hands/arms around to get any tools on the screw heads. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've had to either pull the intake manifold if the engine is installed, or I do it with the drivetrain remove when installing a clutch. etc. Then you don't have to remove the intake. Huge hassle.
