Griffith's Tail Condensor
Griffith's is well known for their left rear fender condensor to improve cooling. Some have said, though, tht in a turbo Porsche the heat from the turbo negates the efficiency of the addes condensor. Assuming that is true, i'm curious if anyone has tried the Griffiths "serpentine" condensor that replaces the stock tail condensor. It is touted as being more efficient... better cooling, etc. They also advertise their Kuehl evaporator as being more efficient. Your thoughts?? Thanks!

I put an additional condenser/fan assembly in the front left fender. It was a BIG help, and I now get vent temps in the mid-30s on an 85 degree day.

Scottb,
Thanks for the info. Do you know if the front left fender condensor will fit in a factory slant nose... which is what I have? Is there a specific aftermarket kit for the condensor or did it come from another Porsche? I have heard of people relocating the washer bottle to the trunk. Do you know what kind of a bottle it is? I assume it is a plastic bag or something similar to what some American cars use. Thnaks, J. |

Slant:
I do not know if it will fit into the front of your slant-nose. I bought my condenser/fan assembly from www.iceac.com. Bob is the contact there, and he's very knowledgeable. I bought a plastic JC Whitney washer bottle, and mounted it in the trunk. I hope this helps.
