Need Help In Selecting South Florida Rebuilder

I have a 1968 911USA with the sportomatic transmission. The clutch has failed and thus needs to be replaced. Since the engine has not been overhalled before, it seems to make sense to have those repairs done while the transimission is out.

Can anyone suggest a repair center that you have had good luck with in South Florida. I live in Fort Myers, But I would be willing to transport the car either up the cost to the Tampa area or East to the Palm Beach area.

Of course I am on a budget and thus I am looking for a good value for my money.

Thanks for your help.

vertex does it, i havent heared of anybody who has had one, but i know there transmision rebuilds are quality, and there service has always been great. They quoted me aboout 3k to rebuild my 2.2E as long as nothing was broken internally. There are alot of people on this board who think a quality rebuild at 3k is imposable, ive met a few guys who have spent that kind of money and were very happy with the product. I suspect everybody is so used to paying so much more that they dont want to beleive that its possable. And, i know im gonna get flack for this post.
