Spare tire compressor 1979?
Could someone(s) please tell me or show a pic of the spare tire compressor
That would have come with a 79 SC. Was there more than one possibility? Thank You |

Maybe the guy selling that one will chime in. In his other auctions, he shows one that is slightly different for a 79.

Attached is a picture of the correct Tire Compressor that was supplied with the North America 1979 Model Year 930. The ZVW tag was mid-point on the black outer barrel and the Electric Air sticker was at the lower left on the case. I believe the 911 compressors were similar. Manufactured by Webster in Canada, they were supplied by VW to both Canadian and US dealers for inclusion at vehicle delivery. The Rest of World (RoW) 1979's received a different unit. . ![]()
