Dansk Exhaust Tip fitment issue

Anyone else experience an issue with Dansk exhaust tip for 911sc being too large of a diameter? I recently purchased one from our host, it was Dansk brand but came in a box JP Group Classic Line with the same lion logo of this historical Dansk brand.

Pulled the old one off and slid on the new one and it's considerably too large in diameter to the point it just slides back and forth with no tension from the indents. When puting the old and new diameters together, the new one is larger!

Anyone else experience this? Manufacturing flaw? Old Dansk stuff better?
