Auto Heat Controller Brown Wires

I decided to try and get the auto heat working.
First there are two brown wires that are not connected. They attach to the micro switch. One of them is broken off the switch. They do not show up in the 930 auto heat wiring diagram. I found a picture on the forum showing them connected to two yellow wires, but no info.
Are they for a different model car with the dual rear blowers? Pics below.

Second my external sensor is bad and while searching I found a post about an aftermarket replacement from DigiKey. But again no more info. Does anyone know the replacement part Iím looking for? Or a thread that lists it?

Pic of mine

Pic found with wires connected

Thank You,

I can't answer the wiring question for your 79, but this thread contains a substitute part for the NLA sensor. It looks to be a thermistor (Honeywell) 121-102EAJ-Q01, and they run $20-30 online (mouser, Newark, etc)
edit: found $14 @ digikey

^^^ Thank you.
After some more searching I found a thread for the caloric sensor fix. Post 16 to the end are the best. $400.00 part for $2.00

I have the exact same wires, they are not connected on mine also, seems that they are not used on the turbo. I think they are meant for rear blowers that we do not have.

I made the same question in this thread. Auto heat Wiring

Mystery solved in four posts.

i don't recall 2 brown wires not being connected when I did mine.
perhaps a better pic of what they ARE connected to.

here is my thread, probably more info than you will ever want.

I would just leave the resistor not connected.

auto heat- foot well blowers part deux.
