Location of Ring gear 915? 1977 911
Hi Peeps, on motors with the " flat" 915 stock flywheel, ( which does not have integrated ring gear teeth). does the ring gear mount BETWEEN Fw and PP, or does it mount on top of PP? ie is it possible to make this mistake based on the way they go together?
It seems that the stock FW had no teeth and requires a ring gear, whereas some of the aftermarket and racing FWs have integrated teeth, i have major problems with my ring gear as presently mounted as its chewing up the starter gear. |
