any photo shop wizards care to do some magic?

Greetings Pelicans,

Anyone of you care to do a little photoshop magic on this little thing I picked up last week. ...great little Weissach 911 but with a built short stroke 3.2 PMO motor with carillo rods, titanium springs and retainers etc.

I'm not a big fan of the bling of the Fikse wheels but the car has big brembo brakes and I don't have any fuchs that will clear them.

I'm thinking of either a weissach fuchs colored center, or maybe some kind of gray or even black.

Can anyone work their magic? ...If you feel like it do a virtual lowering for me too (please)

Thanks in advance.

You could sell those in a heart beat. Gorgeous car. Love the color and stance.

It does not look like a dedicated race car, I assume that it is a track car. You could sell the big brakes and go with Carrera brakes that will fit factory Fuchs.

If brakes are an issue at the track (fade) get race pads, fluid and cooling.

Those are very light wheels. I'd keep them. You could try them murdered out in all black but the aluminum looks great

Just to clarify, you want to change the existing wheels color to body paint, grey, or black?

I agree, great wheels. You should seriously look at refinishing the centers to black. Messing with new (stock) brakes, then new Fuchs wheels, will become a "thing".

...agreed, I'm going to change wheel color to something less blingy.

Black, anthracite, black/bronze or maybe the original weissach fuchs center color.

Get some Plasti Dip and try it out, before you decide.

I think you are on the right track. I am a fan of the Fiskes....but i agree that they look a little blingy. I think that they would look great, on your 911, with the centers in black, but keep the rims as is. That change, combined with a slightly lowered stance will be stellar. come on photo-shoppers...get to it.

regards,
al

I would keep the barrels polished but paint the centers to match the car paint color. Painting the entire wheel is too "murdered out" and overplayed, IMHO.

Do NOT powder coat forged wheels...they can seriously weaken the alloy. Paint them with a decent high temperature paint and they will last for years.

Sorry my ps skills are poor, but since no one else tried... My lowering job was laughable, so it's at the original height.

Thank You. This helps with my decisions.

I think I'll do the centers only. ...going to do the plastidip route first and play with colors a bit I think.

I've plastidipped my repop fuchs and they look great. Plastidip comes in Anthracite so you may try that.
