911 fuse or battery cut off switch

Upon tidying up my 68 911 wiring I find for example the fuel pump is not fused.
Starter cable to the ignition to the pump ???
For piece of mind I would like a battery isolation switch but its not easy to get at there is really no point. Up on the battery is where I would like to isolate it. Any thoughts ????
Its an old car and would hate it to fry due to old wiring.
Lyndon

Some of the battery cut offs are made of cheap pot metal with very thin areas for current to pass through. They can look robust but need to be turned upstairs de down to see potential deficiencies.
