17 years ago I sold my 2.2 mtr on this forum, pls HELP me find it
Fellow P-car lovers,
After a long time away, I was looking for some help on this wonderful forum in finding the 2.2 E spec motor and 901 transmission I sold in October, 2001. While going thru my Late-20’s insanity phase, I thought it intelligent to de-couple my 70E car from it’s original motor and transmission...wide body conversion and 3.3l motor replacement to boot. The project was/is still very close to my heart however my desire for a reunion is more desirable(still have the car). I thought the electronic gods might help me in tracking down the buyer, but I have been unsuccessful. The motor and transmission were sold to a nice man(can’t recall his name) from STOW, MA. Auto Sport Engineering is in Stow. They may know the current owner, or even have been involved in the installation. I would reach out to Len Cummings (BoxsterGT on this board) and see if he can help.

Isn’t Len Cummings (boxstergt) out of Stow? He’s definitely a nice guy and been around a long time.

Try Eurotech in South Burlington. The Owner, Mr Cabell knows *a lot* of the 911 world around there.

I can’t recall the name but I was involved with Rennlist at that date when it needed a name change from Porsche list (or the like).
The #2 man of the site was from the Stow area and he bought a hydraulic lift from me. Bruce |
