911, hole in the front compartment, radiator undearnath

obligatory apology for not finding an answer in the forum search.

another apology for the picture quality, but I will not get to the car until next week, so hopefully this will work.

there is a hole in the front compartment of the 911, uncovering some sort of radiator underneath.

i suspect that hole should be covered but cannot find any specific part for it.

appreciate someone making a comment on it.

there is a fan ususally mounted there.
the radiator is from your AC (the front cooler)

As Flo pointed out, the fan (housing) would cover the hole to the radiator. If you look close, with the fan missing there should be another hole to behind the front bumper where the fan would have sucked in the air to cool the AC radiator. When I took the AC out of my car I had to cover both holes.
I made an aluminum plate to cover the hole to the radiator and used fiberglass to cover the intake hole behind the bumper.

If you're removing the A/C components (they are very heavy when all added up--I just removed everything from a '79) you can cover those holes pretty easily. Like this: Plugged front condenser blower holes

appreciate your replies.
need to decide which way to go, redo the AC system, or just delete it.

That appears to be an after market serpentine condenser so the AC system might have been upgraded already.

Always good to state what model year your car is -so people can correctly and quickly give you the right answer-obviously not an air cooled car-but nonetheless-takes the guessing out of the issue....Good luck on your issue!
