Hi Guys,

What is the correct camshaft timing (in MM) for a '74 911 2.7 CIS?

Thanks

911/92 and 911/97 0.70-0.90.
911/93 and 911/98 0.40-0.54.

Hi John..i wanted to ask you...i used to have a 911S 1977 2,7 ..my memory is fading...
Once i was setting the cam timing to the specs...but one old timer 911 mechanic told me i could go way over the limits of the recommended values....i did that and the car ran like a jet, for a 2,7 it was amazing.

Do you have any idea what was that set up.I remember it was like going 2x around compare to the books set up...0,4-054.....

The carrera cam setting, 911/93 and 911/98, is less than the normal engine. I never really pushed it beyond book specs, just to be safe.
