Anyone had a Beru plug wire unscrew itself?
Short version:
Car was running fine when I dropped it at a shop, then three days later when I picked it up car was shaking at idle. Issue found at cyl #4 (right rearmost.) Fearing the worst, I went to pull the plug to read it, and the plug wire fell right out where it connects to the terminal. Looks like this: ![]() I screwed the thing back together, and the car runs and idles like it did four days ago. I ordered a new wire set anyway, but has anyone had a Beru unscrew itself like that? I thought maybe the threads stripped out or corroded or something but screwing it back together it fit sung and I can't pull it back apart. Seems back to 100% function, car drives great again. There's no way the wire can rotate more than a few degrees when assembled in the car, right?

It just happened to me with that brand. Mine was number 3. Came apart just like yours. I inspected the rest, they are fine. Number 3 was Corroded inside where it came apart . My local Porsche shop had a brand new number 3 I bought from him.

Perfect, thanks! I guess just a case a good / bad timing depending on perspective I guess as the car was in for a PPI.
