Rear wheel bearing
I just replaced my rear wheel bearing. After the install, the hub is very hard to turn. Every thing has been cleaned and I do not have the axle attached yet. Every thing came out with no problems.
I'm thinking that I have put too much pressure on the hub and thinking of using the slide hammer to back it out just a tad. Lots of threads or removing the bearings but very little about hub install. Any one have any ideas? Car is a 1988 coupe Carrera.

How dit you install the hub in the bearing? Did you press it in?

If you did not support the inside inner race, the hub will push it out and damage the bearing. try slipping the stub axle in and tighten the nut.
